I haven't disappeared again. I uploaded late & missed the update, but we are working on it. Butch lives!

Hello friends, and welcome back.  Thanks for returning, thanks for coming around if you're new.  First off, I'm still getting a few kinks worked out with the re-start... due undoubtedly to my bad, lazy html coding, the bottom of today's comic is cut off.  I've got the fix in, but in the meantime it does display properly at http://choppingblock.keenspot.com/d/20130725.html.

We will be updating every weekday from here on out.  Monday through Friday.  I've got a nice little stack of bodies built up, and I'm continuing to add to it.  I intend to keep ahead with at least a month's-worth of comics.  At least.  So if you're so inclined, please help me build my readership back up by spreading the word about CB.  I'd love to start putting some merch together for you at some point, hopefully resurrecting the Beanie Butch plush doll, making new t-shirts, getting another book together, and more.  I've got a couple other goodies in mind, if I can pull them off.  And you know there's nothing Butch likes better than pulling off goodies.

You may have noticed I'm using a new font in the captions.  It will probably take a little getting used to, but it's called "Mom's typewriter", so how could I resist?

Not sure why, but as of 8:45AM today the site hasn't updated, although there's definitely a comic in the queue ready to go.  Particularly disappointing for me, as July 25 2012 marks the TWELFTH ANNIVERSARY of Chopping Block!

First comic appeared July 25, 2000.  In fact, why don't you just click <FIRST up there, and check it out, while we wait?!

THANK YOU ALL so very very much for reading CB and sticking with me through the years.  If nobody liked it or cared about Butch, I wouldn't have been drawn to keep coming back every time I thought I'd quit.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate you.

Sick kid + shitty job, which I guess is preferable to the inverse of the two. Sorry, but I'll make it right. Or die trying. Say, that does sound restful...

So obviously I shot the buffer I was building straight to hell. Today's CB is written & pencilled, but I ran out of time to ink it. Should be up for tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!
