That's right. Check back here for another CB on Friday the 13th! Because, well, it's Friday the 13th, after all!

So here's what I'm thinking.  At just one CB per week, I've already got almost a month's worth of updates in the buffer.  I've probably got half-a-year's worth of gags written.  I'll keep shoveling 'em into the buffer, and once I've got enough in there to guarantee YOU a full 2012 of CB updates at the Wednesday-only pace, I'll start filling in here and there.  Maybe an extra CB on a random Friday, perhaps a Monday and a Thursday will slip in there somewhere.  Who knows?  Maybe I'll be able to get Butch up to two kills a week... more?  Time will tell.

If that sounds like a cheap way to just get you checking back in every day to see if there's an update, well...  All I can tell you is that I am OVERWHELMED and HUMBLED by how many of you have let me know that, during my most recent year-long unannounced absence, you've been checking the site regularly, hoping for more.  I appreciate all of you dear, sick, twisted souls more than I can tell you.  I don't want to pull the vanishing trick on you ever again.  What I want is to give you MORE Butch.  I shall endeavor to do so.

Also, if you haven't already done so, feel free to follow my extremely lame twitter feed.  I try to be hilarious over there, but it mostly comes out boring.  Still, there's stuff there to read and look at occasionally.  I don't say much about CB over there, but I try to say or post something most days.  And if you're following me there, at least I know you know I'm still out here somewhere.  And if I can feel your eyes on me then... well... the tics get harder to suppress and the longer you stare, the more likely you are to see something awkward and uncomfortable.  And in the end that's what we all really want, isn't it?
